A firefighter and a woman were rushed to the hospital from a fire scene on Cleveland's east side.

The fire broke out Friday night on Saranac Road near East 152nd Street, NewsChannel5 reported.

The firefighter was treated and released. There was no immediate word on the condition of the 48-year-old woman.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the blaze.
