Rescuers are at the scene of a church bus crash in Sumter County.

Officials said the bus rolled over several times near the 308 mile marker on Interstate 75 near Bushnell.

Sumter County Fire-Rescue Chief Bill Gulbrandsen described it as a "mass casualty incident." Several people have been taken to hospitals, but there have been no deaths reported.

He said several units are working to rescue people on the bus. Three helicopters were called to airlift three adults to Orlando Regional Medical Center.

Several patients are also going to hospitals in ambulances.

Officials said some of the passengers were wheelchair bound.

I-75 was closed so that the helicopters could land, but one southbound lane has reopened. The northbound lanes are not affected, although there is a lot of traffic from onlookers.

The bus was heading southbound, but it's still not known where it was coming from and where it was heading.
