An Orange County man had to be rescued from a tree Wednesday after climbing up it to rescue a trapped cat.

It happened in downtown Orlando, WESH 2 News reported.

Chris McNally climbed 50 feet up a brittle camphor tree to rescue a neighbor's cat. When McNally couldn't get down, he got a little help.

When McNally was rescued, several onlookers cheered. Firefighters also rescued the cat and returned it to its rightful owner. Nobody was hurt.
