A girl on her way to school noticed the fire and called her mom from the bus stop.
Local firefighters battled fire and ice at a house fire in Braddock Hills Tuesday morning. Flames began just after 7 a.m. at the Brinton Manor Apartments. A mother and daughter were not home when the fire started. A girl on her way to school noticed the fire and called her mom from the bus stop. Firefighters had more than just a fire on their hands to deal with. Freezing temperatures, plus the water used to fight fire caused an icy hazard for them. No one was hurt.
