Christmas Tree Fire Forces Evacuations at Texas Retirement Center

Evacuations were ordered Sunday at a Grapevine retirement community after a Christmas tree caught fire inside, NBC 5 reported.

Firefighters said the two-alarm fire started at about 3 p.m. at the South Colleyville Ranch in the 2300 block of Pool Road.

Colleyville and Bedford firefighters assisted the Grapevine Fire Department in battling the blaze.

There was no word on whether there were any injuries.
