Alabama Firefighter Responds to Son's Fatal Wreck

Call was for a Chevy pick-up that ran off County Road 127 near Florence and flipped.

It was a heart-wrenching night for a Valley mother. She works with the Cloverdale Volunteer Fire Department.

When the fire department got a call about a wreck last night, she raced to the scene.

A Chevy pick-up ran off County Road 127 near Florence and flipped.

The driver of the truck, 20-year-old Bradley Leadford, was that firefighter's son.

Leadford was not wearing his seatbelt and was thrown from the truck.

The 20-year-old died in the crash.
