GRETNA, La. --
A 3-alarm fire broke out Thursday morning at an apartment complex near Oakwood Mall.
The blaze was at building on Ruby Street, in unincorporated Gretna.
It's unclear if anyone lived in the apartments; the part of the building that was burning appeared to be boarded up.
Entergy had to cut power to about 1,600 customers, including the mall. A spokesman said power was restored within a half-hour.
