Houston Cadet Collapses During 2-Mile Run

Cadet Kenneth Hardison was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.

HOUSTON --

A Houston firefighter-in-training was hospitalized after collapsing during a two-mile run, KPRC Local 2 reported Sunday.

Fire officials said Kenneth Hardison, 23, suffered a heat-related injury over the weekend.

Hardison was taken to Memorial Hermann Hospital in critical condition.
