Two Pennsylvania Firefighters Hurt

Both suffered minor injuries.

YORK, Pa. --

Two firefighters were injured as they were trying to put a fire out in a York city home.

The firefighters were taken to a local hospital with minor injuries after the floor they were working on collapsed.

The upper floors of the home were destroyed by the fire.

A family of five lives in the home. They were not home at the time of the fire.

Firefighters said the fire started from a burning candle or a cigarette. The homeowner said the electricity was recently turned off and they were using candles for light. The family was working to get the electricity turned back on.
