Assistant Chief in Pennsylvania Charged with Arson

The assistant fire chief at Liberty Fire Hose Company Number One in Dauphin County, has confessed to setting three fires. Seth Merwine, 33, was arrested and charged with arson on Friday. He is charged with setting three separate fires in Williamstown after admitting to setting a fire at a home in June and two garage fires. Merwine is being held at Dauphin County Prison on $100,000 bail. Merwine was a volunteer firefighter since 1993.
