Baltimore Firefighter Injured While Battling Rowhome Blaze

An air conditioning unit fell on his head.

BALTIMORE --

A Baltimore City firefighter suffered non-life threatening injuries while fighting a rowhome fire Friday morning.

The fire occurred at about 2:30 a.m. in the 300 block of South Gilmor Street in southwest Baltimore.

11 News learned that the firefighter suffered head injuries when an air conditioning unit fell on his head.

The firefighter was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of his injuries. Nobody else was hurt in the fire.

Fire investigators are searching for a cause.
