Fire Destroys Las Vegas Home

Las Vegas - Firefighters responded to the 1300 block of Blankenship Avenue at 5:33 P.M. Thanksgiving afternoon after receiving numerous calls that a house was on fire at that location.

When firefighters arrived they found a 1-story wood frame/brick house fully involved with fire. It took firefighters about ten minutes to bring the fire under control. The house was extensively damaged by the fire, the house was vacant. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

There were no injuries reported during the incident.
