More than a dozen people were forced out of their homes Thanksgiving morning after a vacant grocery store caught fire in Harford.
Five children and 10 adults were burned out of their apartments at 571 Maple Ave., at about 1 a.m.
Officials said the fire started in a vacant grocery store located on the first floor, but quickly spread to three apartments above and the neighboring barbershop.
When the fire department arrived the fire had spread quickly, but they were able to knock out the blaze within minutes.
One woman was hospitalized after suffering from a panic attack.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, but the tenants said they suspect it was arson.
