New Jersey Firefighter Injured in Blaze

One firefighter sustained a separated shoulder; his injury was not life-threatening.

MONTCLAIR, N.J.-- A third-alarm fire tore through a large home in Montclair, injuring one firefighter and leaving 14 people homeless.

Fire shot out the second floor windows, and smoke spewed from the third, of 198 Walnut Street.

The fire broke out just after 9 a.m. Thursday morning and quickly spread through the large, colonial-style structure.

One firefighter sustained a separated shoulder. His injury was not life-threatening.

At least 14 people live in the home, but they all escaped without injury.
