A Saturday morning fire in Over The Rhine left 30 people without a home.
Firefighters said patrolling police officers discovered flames at a four-story apartment building at 45 W. McMicken Ave. just before 2 a.m.
Firefighters arrived moments later to find heavy fire on three floors with several trapped by the flames.
Fire crews were able to rescue 10 people from upper floors. One firefighter suffered minor injuries. The Red Cross is helping 30 people displaced from their homes.
Damage to the building is estimated at $100,000. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
