Flames Rip Through Pennsylvania Row Homes

Firefighters battled a six-alarm fire Thursday evening in York.

YORK, Pa. --

Firefighters battled a six-alarm fire Thursday evening in York.

It started just before 5:30 p.m. on the 300 block of Smyser Street near Newberry Street. At least three row homes were affected by the fire.

Red Cross said six families are displaced from their homes. They're providing services for 14 people.

There is no word on any injuries.

Fire officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
