Gretna, LA - Authorities said a 45-year-old man died after a fire at his Westbank apartment Friday afternoon.
The blaze broke out on Alexander Court, where crews found a woman, her two adult sons and another man.
Firefighters found Joseph Thompson lying on the floor of a bedroom. He was pulled outside and given CPR, but he was later pronounced dead at Ochsner Hospital on the Westbank.
His cause of death hasn't yet been determined.
