JAMESTOWN, Calif. --
Two people died Tuesday in a mobile home fire near Jamestown, the Tuolumne County Sheriff's Office said.
The blaze was reported at 6:33 a.m. and destroyed a trailer located at 16740 Chicken Ranch Road, Lt. Dan Bressler said.
When firefighters and medics arrived, the trailer was already fully engulfed in flames.
Fire investigators and a coroner were called in to determine the cause of the blaze and to identify the bodies.
At this stage of the investigation, authorities do not believe this fire is related to any of the suspicious fires that have occurred over the past several weeks at the Tamarron Mobile Home Park, Bressler said.
Fire units responded from Tuolumne County Fire Department, Sonora Fire Department and Cal Fire.
