Turkey Fryer Causes Texas Home Fire
A turkey fryer caught fire at a Lower Valley home.
It happened Monday in the 500 block of Gallagher.
El Paso firefighters say it caught fire when the residents placed the turkey inside and left it unattended.
The oil then boiled over and caught the entire appliance on fire.
Nobody was injured.
KFOX first told you about the dangers of the fryers this weekend.
Firefighters say you should use your turkey fryer in a well ventilated area and on a flat stable surface.
And check the oil temperature frequently.
