Texas Firefighter Hurt at Blaze

A Kansas City firefighter was injured while battling a house fire early Saturday morning, officials said. Fire broke out at a home in the 5300 block of Blue Parkway just before 4:30 a.m. Investigators said firefighters were able to get the fire under control quickly. One firefighter was injured when his foot went through a hole on the roof, authorities said. The injured firefighter was treated on the scene. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
