A fire that burned dangerously close to homes in Orlando, Fla., Thursday was intentionally set, according to Division of Forestry officials. Authorities said several homeowners evacuated their homes over the 20-acre brush fire near Tivoli Chase in Orlando, located south of Curry Ford Road. Local 6 reported that flames reached about 100 yards from homes before it was brought under control Thursday night. Several residents complained of a delayed response from firefighters. "People out here said they are angry because it took fire crews about 15 minutes to respond," Local 6's Vanessa Medina said. "They said that the dispatchers were not taking their calls seriously." A representative with a nearby Orlando Fire Department said crews were on a training mission and were not able to respond immediately to the brush fire.
