One woman died and 45 residents were displaced after an apartment fire Saturday in northwest Dallas.
The fire broke out at about 7:30 a.m. at the Chase Place Apartments in the 3400 block of Chapel Creek and Webb Chapel.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries battling the fire and 12 apartments were reported damaged.
The apartment complex will relocate affected residents within the complex and to other properties owned by the management, officials said. The Red Cross was also headed out to the scene to assist displaced residents.
The Red Cross said 80 people have been displaced in two days between this fire and a four-alarm fire that broke out at an Arlington apartment complex Friday.
