In north Minneapolis, a woman died and a man was hospitalized after an early morning duplex fire today.
Firefighters arrived to find the man outside the burning duplex. The woman was dead inside. Her name hasn't been released.
The man was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. His condition isn't known.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.

A fatal fire in New Brighton is now considered a homicide.
New Brighton Deputy Public Safety Director John Ellickson says it appears that the fire was set to cover up a murder. The body was found about 9:30 Thursday.
He says there was trauma to the body that was not connected to the fire.
An autopsy is being conducted. The man's name has not been released.
Authorities are looking for a number of "people of interest'' but have made no arrests.
