San Diego Crew Airlifts Hiker Stranded on Cliff
A hiker stranded on a cliff in La Jolla had some scary moments on Tuesday morning.
Officials with San Diego Fire and Rescue got a call just after 5 a.m. and sent rescuers out to the Torrey Pines area of Scenic Drive.
Drew Galvin, 27, told officials he was a first-time visitor to Torrey Pines and was hiking with a friend when he became stranded on a ledge for more than two hours. Crews airlifted Galvin to safety.
