Miami Fire Truck, Taxicab Collide; 4 Firefighters Injured

None of the injuries are considered life threatening.

Four firefighters were transported to the hospital after a collision between a fire engine and a taxicab Wednesday.

Fire engine No. 4 was involved in a crash with a taxicab at the intersection of Southwest Eighth Street and Second Avenue.

Fire-rescue officials said the fire engine was en route to an emergency call when the crash occurred.

A passenger in the cab was also injured. There was visible damage to the passenger side of the cab, but none of the injuries was considered life-threatening.
