Connecticut Firefighter Hurt

A 3-alarm fire on Saunders Street in East Hartford sent one firefighter to the hospital early Thursday.
The fire broke out in the multi-family home around 12:30 a.m. and quickly gutted the top floors
One firefighter fell through a floor and is in stable condition at St. Francis Hospital.
Six adults and two children were able to get out OK.
Fire officials said it took about an hour to get the fire under control and Hartford firefighters were called in to assist.
There is no word yet on the cause.
