An investigation is under way into an early morning house fire in Lakeside.
The three-alarm fire happened in the 11000 block of Topo Lane in the Moreno neighborhood.
According to officials with the Heartland Fire Department, two people were taken to the hospital with possible smoke inhalation.
The house was gutted by the fire. Authorities have not yet determined a financial estimate of the damage
