LARGO, Md. --
A roller coaster at the Six Flags America amusement park in Largo stalled in midair Saturday with 28 passengers on board, fire officials said.
The Two-Face coaster stalled 100 feet in the air about 4:30 p.m., fire officials said. Rescuers were called and the coaster was lowered. Firefighters helped the passengers off and checked them all for injuries.
One rider did suffer trouble breathing, but no injuries were reported, fire officials said.
The 28 riders were stuck in the air for about 30 minutes.
It wasn't the first time the Two-Face coaster stranded passengers. In July of 2003, a safety sensor detected a problem and stopped the trains in midair.
About 25 passengers were stuck on the coaster for two hours while engineers manually brought the trains safely back into the station.
Prince George's County officials have shut down the ride until inspectors can figure out what caused the ride to stop.
