Four people are homeless and four firefighters suffered minor burns after a fire ripped through a three-story Victorian-style building Sunday evening.

The blaze started at 6:20 p.m. and quickly turned into a four-alarm fire that threatened a second Victorian building just three feet away.

Residents of the second- and third-floor apartments escaped the fire, but a pet cat died in the blaze.

Olipom, a business on the ground floor, was damaged by water. The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Officials said 90 firefighters responded to the blaze.
