Firefighters Battle Huge Fire In Southern Indiana

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. Friday morning near an Elks Lodge.

Firefighters are on the scene of a major fire in Madison, Ind.

The fire broke out around 6 a.m. Friday morning near an Elks Lodge on West Street in the historic downtown district.

The fire has also spread to other buildings, and a portion old City Hall building, which currently houses an insurance company, has collapsed.

No injuries have been reported with the blaze.

At least nine fire departments, some from as far away as North Vernon, Ind., are on the scene battling the blaze
