A firefighter was seriously hurt Tuesday night at the scene of a fire in an industrial building.

The firefighter crashed through the roof of the factory, located in the 1100 block of South Washtenaw.

The firefighter fell as he and several others were putting out a small fire.

The firefighter, who was not identified, fell about 50 feet.
