Detroit Crews Combat Three-Alarmer

Five engines, two trucks and two fire chiefs were at the scene

Fire crews battled a commercial building fire on Detroit's west side early Wednesday morning.

The fire was at a building on West Warren at Livernois Avenue. Crews were called to the scene just after midnight.

Five engines, two trucks and two fire chiefs were at the scene to battle the three-alarm fire, Local 4 reported. The scene was cleared at about 3 a.m.

The fire then re-ignited at about 4 a.m., but has since been extinguished.

The building appeared to be abandoned. No injuries were reported.
