Four-Alarmer Raging in Dallas

The blaze started in a vacant apartment.

A four-alarm fire broke out Tuesday afternoon at a vacant apartment complex in Dallas.

The blaze started around noon in the 4200 block of Fairmount .

A total of 96 firefighters used at least two ladder trucks to douse the flames.

Firefighters had contained the blaze by 12:30 p.m.

No injuries were reported.

Officials do not yet know what caused the blaze.

Damage was estimated at $40,000.
