Two Memphis firefighters were transported to The Med after responding to a serious accident between a dump truck and a motorcycle on Peeples Road.

Memphis Fire Department officials tell Action News 5 a firefighter was shocked by a downed power line while trying to rescue someone trapped in the dump truck.

The firefighter who was shocked is currently at The Med. He is conscious and responsive. Another firefighter was taken to The Med after suffering heat exhaustion.

Two other people involved in the accident were also transported to local hospitals. Their conditions were not immediately released.
