Mississippi Crash Victims Were Fireman, Wife

BYRAM, Miss. --

Authorities have identified the victims of a fatal wreck in Byram as a Clinton fireman and his wife.

Capt. Eddie McGowan and his wife, Vicki, were killed at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday at Siwell Road and Interstate 55.

Their two children were taken to a hospital.

Police said the McGowans were inside a Volkswagen that collided with a Chevrolet pickup truck, driven by 26-year-old Christopher Bell.

So far, no charges have been filed in the case.
