Coverage continues focusing on major events, training issues, important fire service news and other topics vitally important to the health and well-being of the fire service. The covers on these pages represent some of the major incidents that we have reported on in the past three decades. The worst event in fire service history occurred on Sept. 11, 2001, at the World Trade Center in New York City. On the following pages, we take a look back at some of the topics covered since our 25th anniversary and that were published in the interest of the fire service. These topics educate firefighters, officers and chiefs about the timely issues they must deal with day in and day out.
