CHARLOTTE, N.C. --

A fire started in a building behind Memorial United Methodist Church around 4:15 a.m. Wednesday.

Memorial United Methodist Church is in east Charlotte on Central Avenue near Eastway Drive.

Firefighters were able to contain the fire within 10 minutes.

Investigators believe the fire may have been caused by arson.
