OVIEDO, Fla. --
In Oviedo, what was first reported as Molotov cocktails has led to many more questions after two people were pulled over with, what appeared to be, a car full of chemicals.
Around 3:00am Monday, two people traveling on Slavia Road in Oviedo were pulled over after police received a 911 call reporting the threat of a house that was about to be firebombed. The car driven by 23-year-old Jeremy Woodward and 25-year-old Kari Greathouse was full of accelerants that could be used to make explosives.
A homeowner in Ovideo reported that cinderblocks had been thrown thorugh the window of his house and that he recognized the car he saw driving away from the scene. He then called the cell phone of the person he believed to be driving the car and was told that his house was going to be firebombed. The homeowner then called 911 to report the incident.
Oviedo police were waiting for the two when they arrived at the house again. Woodward and Greathouse are facing charges of attempted arson and possession of accelerant devices.
Firefighters found ammonia, gasoline, buckets and several glass figures inside the car they were driving.
