Firefighters rescued two window washers who were stuck while washing windows at the King County Courthouse on Monday.

The two were standing on a platform that flipped around, so that the edge next to the building was on the outside, said KIRO 7 Eyewitness News reporter Graham Johnson.

Firefighters with heavy rescue equipment arrived and closed streets in the area.

Video from Chopper 7 showed firefighters pulling the two to safety through an open window.

The window washers were not hurt.
