Units from 4 Counties Battle Restaurant Fire

More than 70 firefighters from Anne Arundel, Howard, Montgomery and Prince George's counties battled a 6 A.M. blaze at a seafood restaurant. Units from Laurel were alerted for smoke coming from a building and arrived to find heavy smoke showing. An aggressive attack was made on the fire, which started in a refrigerator compressor, and kept it from spreading to the dining area of the building. Damage was estimated at $500,000.
