COCOA, Fla. --
A Central Florida firefighter is in stable condition on Tuesday after a brush truck rolled over his legs at the department, according to officials.
The unidentified firefighter returned to Cocoa fire station No. 3 at about 3 p.m. when the incident occurred, officials told Local 6 News.
As the firefighter exited the brush truck, the vehicle's parking brake apparently did not hold and his legs were rolled over near his knees, officials said.
The extent of the injuries is not immediately known.
