HOUSTON --
Two firefighters suffered minor injuries while battling a house fire in northeast Houston on Wednesday.
Houston firefighters found heavy fire at a house on Locksley Road near Greenwich Street at about 4 a.m.
One firefighter injured his knee and another suffered neck and back injuries. They were transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital for treatment.
The residents were not at the home when the fire started.
The structure sustained significant damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
