Firefighters Eat Free at Hard Rock, July 11

The restaurant is kicking off its "Smokehouse" selections, and invite the world's bravest to try it on the house.

ORLANDO , Fla., July 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Sound the sirens! Hard RockInternational celebrates the launch of its new menu, featuring delectable new"Smokehouse" items, by feeding firefighters for free! On Tuesday, July 11th,2006 , firefighters worldwide are invited to visit their local Hard Rock Cafein the continental U.S., Canada and Europe to enjoy a complimentary meal fromHard Rock's "Smokehouse" section, which includes authentic bar-b-que entreesslow-cooked in the cafe's new hardwood smokers. To reach as many firefightersas possible, in select markets, Hard Rock Cafe staffers will also deliversmokehouse fare to the fire station nearest the cafe.

To further honor firefighters around the globe, Hard Rock Internationalwill execute a worldwide "Crank It Up" program, where guests are encouraged toround up their checks to the nearest dollar (or more) when dining at Hard RockCafes around the globe. Each generous contribution from cafes in the U.S. and Canada will be directly donated to the Leary Firefighters Foundation, acharitable organization founded by actor Denis Leary dedicated to providingfire departments with funding and resources for up-to-date equipment andtraining. Funds raised in cafes throughout Europe will be donated to localfirefighter charities.
