A high powered water device broke free and struck four firefighters in the head.

CHESTER, Conn. --

Several firefighters are recovering after being injured during a training exercise Monday night.

It happened at the boat launch on Cedar Lake in Chester.

State police told NBC 30 that a high powered water device broke free and struck four firefighters in the head .

They were treated and released from the hospital.
