Fire Breaks Out In Chicago

A 2-11 alarm was called for the blaze.

Chicago firefighters are at the scene of a fire in a South Side building Wednesday morning.

The fire broke out in a building in the 4800 block of South Ashland Avenue about 11:30 a.m., according to Fire Media Commander Will Knight.

A 2-11 alarm was called for the blaze, which is currently burning on the second floor of the building, Knight said.

Further information was not immediately available.

Minor injuries have been reported.
