Four firefighters were treated for minor injuries.

A fire truck crashed into a house on Detroit's east side Monday night.

The fire truck was en route to a scene at Rohns and Moffat streets when it crashed through a fence and into an empty house while trying to avoid a car, Local 4 reported. Authorities said the car's driver did not hear the sirens over his loud music.

Four firefighters were treated for their minor injuries and released.

The driver of the car was hospitalized in serious condition. It is not known whether the driver will face charges, Local 4 reported.
