A fire broke out at the Bank of America building in Plano late Monday morning.
Officials said the 3-alarm fire was on the 13th floor of the tower on the 100 block of East Park Boulevard. The floor contained only utility equipment and firefighters said it was an electrical fire.
Investigators told NBC 5 that some smoke damage was evident on the 12th and 13th floors. It is possible there is some damage on the 11th floor as well, officials said.
Fire officials said 62 firefighters attended the fire since the building was a high-rise.
The building was evacuated as a precaution and no one was injured in the fire.
