ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. --
An Orange County firefighter ran into a burning house to free a man trapped by debris.
When firefighters arrived to the home on Carter Street, several neighbors and a deputy were already trying to pull the victim through a window, but he was stuck.
Firefighter paramedic John Parkhurst went into the burning home, freed the man and handed him through the window. The man's legs had been trapped under debris.
The man was one of two people who were inside at the time. Both suffered serious injures.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
