Ohio Fire Chief Finalist for Milwaukee Position
The city of Milwaukee confirms that Dayton Fire Chief Larry Collins is one of five finalist for the job of fire chief in their city.
Collins and four other candidates will be interviewed during a public meeting on March 29.
In 2003, Collins was headed to Richmond, Va., for a chief's job, but changed his mind at the last minute.
He's been Dayton's chief for about 10 years, rising up through the ranks after working as a firefighter for 20 years.
