San Antonio High Water Rescuers Save Trapped Drivers

Firefighters rescued four men at around 2 a.m. from a Chrysler 300 that became trapped in high water.

High water rescues continued early Tuesday morning on flooded roadways.

San Antonio police and firefighters spent the early morning hours rescuing people from their submerged vehicles.

Firefighters rescued four men at around 2 a.m. from a Chrysler 300 that became trapped in high water at Interstate 35 and Salado Creek. No one was hurt.

Firefighters also assisted three other drivers, whose vehicles stalled in high water at Interstate 10 and West Avenue around midnight.

Firefighters walked one man from his car to safety.

The drivers made it out of the water OK.
